The Audi e-tron foil Performance is the Audi eFoil for sporty and lighter riders. With a volume of 83 liters, it is more agile than the Adventure Board.

Audi e-tron foil Performance
The Audi e-tron foil Performance from Aerofoils is the medium-sized Audi e-Foil. With a length of 153 cm and a width of 67 cm, it is exactly between the all-round Audi e-tron foil Adventure and the extremely sporty Audi e-tron foil Competition.

Here is a comparison of all Audi eFoils:
* Audi e-tron foil Adventure: The Audi eFoil Adventure model with a volume of 103 liters is our all-rounder eFoil. 70% of our customers choose this model. The 176 cm x 72 cm board offers enough lift for a safe take-off and a soft landing. Nevertheless, it is still agile enough not to lose the fun on the water.
* Audi e-tron foil Performance: The Audi eFoil Performance model with a volume of 83 liters is designed for lightweight & more athletic riders who do not share the eFoil with beginners or very heavy riders. The 153 cm x 67 cm board is a little more challenging to launch, but even more maneuverable in flight.
* Audi e-tron foil Competition: The Audi eFoil Competition model with a volume of 73 liters is designed for eFoil professionals who want to push their limits. The small 135 cm x 63 cm board comes with optional footstraps that allow for high jumps.
* Aerofoils AirFly: The AirFly eFoil from Aerofoils is an inflatable board with a volume of 150 liters and a short 60 cm mast for beginners. This makes it very suitable for boat owners.

Performance model:
The Audi e-tron foil Performance comes in a glossy midnight blue and the 1350x400 wing set and 80 cm carbon mastwith jet propulsion. At 83 liters, it is slightly smaller than the eFoil all-rounder models, which usually have around 100 liters.

The Audi eFoil was the first eFoil worldwide with a safe jet propulsion instead of an open propeller and is still the only eFoil that was developed from the ground up as a jetfoil. Safety first!

But the Audi e-tron foil jet also has other advantages besides safety. It is incredibly quiet and rides very smoothly. The small diameter of the drive improves efficiency and makes it possible – due to the low water resistance – to even ride the waves without resorting to professional equipment such as a folding propeller.

80 cm carbon mast
While most manufacturers rely on aluminum masts between 65 and 75 cm long, the Audi e-tron Foil goes full-on as standard. The elegant 80 cm mast made of high-quality carbon fiber cuts smoothly through the water.

The high-quality carbon is more flexible and robust than aluminum. This long mast also has two advantages:
- On the one hand, the longer mast helps in choppy water because it gives you more leeway to absorb the waves.
- On the other hand, the underwater wings are lower in the water with a longer mast. This allows for steeper turns without stalling. Stalling occurs when the wings come out of the water.

Premium remote control with color display
Here too, the Audi e-tron foil comes with high-tech as standard. A large, high-resolution color display makes it easy to control the ride.

Not only can you easily keep an eye on your speed and battery level, but it is also very easy to access certain functionsor change settings:
* Ride modes: The aggressiveness can be varied in three stages for beginners and professionals.
* Power adjustment: To get the most out of the trigger, the power can be limited.
* Speed limit: For beginners, the maximum speed can be reduced
* Reverse gear: Don't feel like swimming? The Audi e-tron foil has a reverse gear.

This is just a selection of the many functions. A small black and white display would quickly be overwhelmed here and would make the process too complicated.

Smartphone App
The free smartphone app for Android and iOS for the Audi e-tron foil connects to the remote control and reads out the data from your e-foil. This means you will continue to benefit from free software updates and new features even after your purchase.

What's more, you can use the app to view your flight again on an animated map and see where you flew, when and at what speed.

And last but not least, the app contains lots of useful videos on how to use your Audi eFoils.

Audi Carbon Board sizes:
The Audi e-tron foil Performance (83 liters) is also available as an Adventure model with 103 liters. The smaller the eFoil, the more difficult it is to launch, but the more maneuverable (!) the ride. For extremely good and light riders, there is also the Competition model with 73 liters. Another thing about the Competition is that it is very short.

The body weight and the talent of the rider in finding the board size are crucial. The 20 liter difference in volume (Adventure vs. Performance) roughly corresponds to 20 kg of body weight. In other words, the 83 liter board behaves like the 103 liter board for a 90 kg rider with a 70 kg rider.

If there are different users, you should go by the heaviest rider. If you're not sure, it's better to choose the larger version. If you don't get off to a good start on a board that's too small, you'll quickly lose the fun.

On the other hand, a light and good rider won't lose as much with a larger board. After all, the board is not in the water when you're floating and you glide on the wings.

Audi e-tron foil Battery & Charger
The Audi e-tron foil can be used with the smaller Light battery or the larger Endurance battery.

The small Light battery was designed for surfing and racing. It only provides up to 60 minutes of riding time because the Light battery is designed to be used when riding waves and the main purpose is to reduce the total weight.

We recommend the Endurance battery with up to 120 minutes of riding fun. Of course, the rider's weight, conditions and riding style also influence the range.

The small power adapter was designed for the Light battery. It would take 4 hours to charge the Endurance battery with it. The premium power adapter only needs 2 hours for the Endurance battery.

With the Endurance battery and the large power adapter, a single driver can also drive several sessions a day. If there are multiple drivers, you should plan for a spare battery.
